Pianist and composer Bas Bulteel turns his gaze inward after a successful run as leader of the adventurous energy bomb Wasdaman and as inspirer of his own trio, with which he won the 2014 national radio broadcast Klara Music Prize for best record in the jazz category for the album "Coming
Home" his debut as a bandleader. For his new solo work, he is aiming for a repertoire in which lyricism and intimism prevail: music that rather springs from silence and seeks its way to the surface in an unforced, lovely nature and well-mannered way.
