Close Distance is a new band founded by Jelle Van Giel, who has been searching for new ways to compose for a smaller line-up, blending piano and guitar, but in his typical style: melodic, energetic, sometimes complex, emotional and rich in sound. It’s based on modern improv with atmospheric indie-rock, in a way that doesn’t make any concessions, but rather finds new possibilities in this style.
